    It is a traditional belt buckle with tongue and tang closure. The buckle is cast in quality zinc alloy, and then heavily gold plated for a tarnish-free finish. Not for someone looking for a petite buckle, this one is massive, but beautiful – approximately 5.625″ tall and 8.5″ wide. It is made for use with a full 4″ wide belt, and curved from left to right to accommodate Santa's “cookie zone.” Please note: This is a large, some say – mammoth, and very heavy (about 19 oz) buckle which requires support with ample belt loops on your suit.

    Eileen Strom created this beautiful custom designed, all-metal solid cast belt buckle. We've matched it with our best selling Amish-made custom belt in the 4-inch width perfect for this match up. The buckle is made from strong, 5 mm thick zinc alloy and then heavily plated in precious 18k Gold or Rhodium for an easy-care, non-tarnish finish. On “inked” versions, the featured snowflakes and candy canes have a little dark stain applied to highlight the details. At 5.5″H x 7″W and using a traditional tongue and tang design, this buckle will accommodate a full-width four inch (4″) leather belt and the gentle curve of the buckle helps keep it flat across the cookie zone.

    The belt is made from a durable, vat-dyed and hand polished fine grain leather that is suitable for stamping (not tooling). Crafted in Tennessee, each is made to order by Amish leather smiths to your specifications, in either black or brown.

    Santasclauset.org carries this buckle in a broad selection of colors and plating options, including red or green transparent enamel over 18k gold plate, black translucent enamel over 18k gold plate with inked details, and shiny 18k gold plating with no inking.     The Reindeer Wreath Buckle is Steve Pulera's latest design. This Santa buckle is finely cast in solid zinc alloy, then double gold-plated for a quality, durable, no-polish finish. This artful design depicts one of Santa’s reindeer, surrounded by a detailed Christmas wreath.

    This buckle design is approximately 5.25″ tall and wide and can accommodate up to a full 4″ wide belt. It can use smaller belt widths all the way down to 3.25', however, you will have show-through of the background. Although it has a loop bar closure on the back side (pictured) for a ball and post closure, it will also fit on a traditional one prong tongue and tang belt. The buckle is cast in quality zinc alloy, and then heavily gold plated for a tarnish-free finish.

    This 18k gold-plated (shown) or rhodium-plated Santa belt buckle is designed to accommodate the included full 4-inch wide leather belt. Inspired by the 1994 Miracle on 34th Street movie, this all metal buckle has lightly rounded corners buckle corners and has a slight cookie-zone curve to add comfort to the fit. Approx. 5mm thick, this is a durable buckle with heavy plating and a light satin finish to the background with highly polished rope-style trim and holly leaves and berries. Buckle also coordinates nicely with our Santa's M 34 Reindeer Button set. Dimensions 6″H x 4.75″W. Weight, almost 9 oz. For the belt, our top-notch supplier does belts from 3 to a full 4-inches wide, 1/4-inch thick Santa belts in soft, supple, yet durable latigo leather*.     We stock a select few of our belts, but rather encourage you to order to your custom specifications as to color (black or rich brown), length, width and buckle type (buckle not included, but see our combo packages). Our top-notch Tennessee Amish supplier routinely does either 3 3/4 to full 4-inch wide, almost 1/4-inch thick Santa belts in soft, supple, yet durable latigo leather*, with through and through color via tumble drum-dying. However, we can order widths from 3 to 4 inches wide or we suppose, even wider if you had need (contact us for pricing). We can vouch for the quality and value of these belts since we and others have been wearing them for several seasons. Prices may vary with a slight upcharge for extra lengths. As a separate belt, most of these are special ordered, although we often stock a few 4″ black belts in waist size 55-56″ (with holes either side for about 2 inches) and they coordinate nicely with our 4-inch holly buckles. Please allow at least two, but often up to three weeks for delivery of custom lengths.

    How to measure (see image):
    We VERIFY 100% of all belt orders. There are many ways to measure for a belt length.
    Here is what I need you to do. 
    1. Put on Santa Suit Pants.
    2. If you wear padding or a COOLING VEST PUT THOSE ON.
    3. Put your Santa Coat on.
    4. Take what ever Santa belt you currently are using. Put it through the Belt loops on the coat.
    5. Cinch it down to where you are comfortable.
    6. NOW THIS NEXT STEP IN CRUCILE. 
    7. Look at the belt and see which hole the tongue  of the buckle is going through the belt.
    8. Take belt off, use seamstress tape measure and measure from that hole back to where the buckle attaches. This is the Number we need.
    9. DO NOT MEASURE THE BUCKLE, DO NOT MEASERUE THE FOLD BACK OF THE BELT AROUND THE BUCKLE. DO NOT MEASURE THE LOOSE END OF THE BELT. WE HAVE TAKEN ALL THOSE NUMBERS INTO ACCOUNT.

    If you have an existing belt, measure from where the belt attaches to the buckle (center support rod) to the hole that you usually use. That distance is your “Santa waist”. The cookie zone is the waist circumference at the place where your belt is intended to be worn – level through the belt loops on your suit – and over your suit, and any padding you use. Normally, this is not a cinch-tight fit, but rather a bit loose, especially since it tends to get even broader (larger) when you sit down in the chair. None of these measurements have any relationship to your pant waist. Test the length in all locations and methods, but don't order one too short. You can always punch more holes to tighten it up, but you can't add any length to a belt that is too small.
