Buckle – Candle Buckle – Gold

One of the issues facing many Santa performers today is the weight of buckles. A heavy buckle can drag down the belt below the cookie zone, which creates an unflattering and unprofessional look. This buckle comes in at around 6oz and is curved to accommodate the cookie zone.

It is currently only available for a 4 inch belt. Though you can wear it with a smaller belt if you don’t mind there being a lot of space at the top and bottom of the buckle bar

The buckle comes in a matte gold finish and is constructed of a zinc alloy.

ABOUT THE DESIGN:

Stuart Deacon Referenced the Coca Cola artwork which had a simple tin buckle.

I wanted to keep the buckle smaller but also ornamental. I thought much about the old Dutch settlers and what sort of buckles they may have worn and what shape they’d have been made in. The shape finally came together, and then I sketched by hand all the elements you see on the buckle. Yes, that’s the candle I drew, the North Pole how I see it, and the star of Bethlehem.

The candle is a reference to Matthew 5:14-16

14. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

It is my prayer that the good that Santa Clauses do during the Christmas Season, and throughout the remainder of the year when not wearing the red suit, spreads the love and joy of the Savior.

But if religion isn’t your thing, fret not, the buckle will still fit on your belt too!
